וַתֹּאמֶר֩ יִזְכָּר־נָ֨א הַמֶּ֜לֶךְ אֶת־יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֗יךָ מהרבית [מֵהַרְבַּ֞ת] גֹּאֵ֤ל הַדָּם֙ לְשַׁחֵ֔ת וְלֹ֥א יַשְׁמִ֖ידוּ אֶת־בְּנִ֑י וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ חַי־יְהוָ֔ה אִם־יִפֹּ֛ל מִשַּׂעֲרַ֥ת בְּנֵ֖ךְ אָֽרְצָה׃
De grâce, répondit-elle, songe à l’Éternel, ton Dieu, pour que le vengeur du sang ne multiplie pas les ruines, et qu’on n’extermine pas mon fils! Par le Dieu vivant! dit le roi, il ne tombera pas un cheveu de la tête de ton fils."
